Michigan Hickory Tour at Indian Trails, Grand Rapids

The Michigan Hickory Tour played the newly-renovated 1928 Indian Trails Golf Course in Grand Rapids yesterday.  The response from the group was very positive and everyone had a good time.  Balls were pulled from a hat at the first tee to determine pairings and everyone went forth and played in no more than 3 1/2 hours!

The new hickory course record at Indian Trails is now held by Frank Abrahams with at sterling 79 on a course layout that none of us had ever played before!

A nice meal at Blue Moose in Cascade followed and everyone was able to get home before dark.

Wyandotte Hickory Organization – Wyandotte Hickory Scramble!

Another great event by the Wyandotte Hickory Organization.  Members of the Michigan Hickory Tour enjoyed two days of fine golf last weekend.  Day one was practice at 1909 West Shore CC on Grosse Ile and the Wyandotte Hickory Scramble at Wyandotte Shores GC on Sunday.  A good turn out for both days, some fine scoring and another memorable meal/prize-giving at Captain’s Pub after.  Full details can be found on the WHO’s Facebook page.

Good Show!
